Cialis contraindications

Categories: Cialis

Cialis is contraindicated to be used by patients who take nitrate-based medications for heart problems. Concomitant use of Cialis with nitrates can provoke life-threatening health conditions: fainting, heart attack and others. This happens due to vasodilating properties of both medications. In combination the hypotensive effect of both drugs can lead to significant blood pressure decrease.

So, Cialis should never be administered with any medication containing nitrates.

Cialis is contraindicated to be used in men with hypersensitive reactions to Tadalafil. Hypersensitivity reactions to Tadalafil include: Stevens-Johnson syndrome and exfoliative dermatitis.

Patients with known hypersensitivity to Cialis should not use this drug.
