Drug interactions with Cialis

The co-administration of Cialis with nitrates is contraindicated in patients who use nitrate –containing drugs regularly or periodically.
The use of Cialis in patients who use alpha-blockers is not recommended. The therapy with alpha-blockers should be completed, and then the treatment with Cialis can be considered.
Antihypertensive medications in combination with tadalafil can cause serious decrease in blood pressure. These medications should not be used together.
Antacids can reduce the absorption of tadalafil, so they should be used apart.
Cytochrome P450 inhibitors, CYP3A4, HIV protease inhibitors can increase tadalafil exposure.
Cytochrome P450 inducers can decrease tadalafil exposure.
Ask your doctor about all other drug interactions with Cialis. Inform your doctor about the medications you use for other conditions.
