The 94% of Tadalafil is bound to plasma proteins.
Cialis is mainly metabolized by CYP3A4 to active metabolites. The elimination happens in the feces and in the urine. The mean terminal half-life of Tadalafil is 17.5 hours.
In different groups of patients including geriatric patients, patients with diabetes and BPH the pharmacokinetic parameter of the drug are not significantly changed. So such patients do not need any special dose adjustments.
