What to tell your doctor before taking Cialis

Categories: Cialis

A doctor’s consultation is urgent before you decide to use this medication. Though Cialis is one of the safest medications for ED and BPH treatment, it has its side effects and may be dangerous if taken improperly or in larger doses.

If you have allergy to Tadalafil or other components of Cialis, do not use it.

Nitrates contradict with Tadalafil, never use these medications together. Their combination may provoke a sudden and serious decrease in blood pressure. That is why your doctor should be informed about your blood pressure, especially if your blood pressure is uncontrolled. You should tell your doctor about all other medications you use, they may also lower your blood pressure. Remember that even herbs and food supplements may lower blood pressure.

Other conditions may contradict with Cialis intake, they include:

  • A heart disorder, heart rhythm problems, a history of heart attack;
  • A history of heart failure, stroke or priapism;
  • Liver or kidney impairment;
  • Blood cell disorders;
  • Stomach ulcers;
  • Peyronie’s disease;
  • Any problems with vision or hearing.
